JJ Cole, MSW, ACSW
JJ Cole, MSW, ACSW, is the Director of Social Services for FLS. She has been a social worker for many years, as well as an advocate for women and children. She has worked in residential facilities, local social work agencies and previously served as a staff member at both the Liberty Godparent Home and Family Life Services. JJ is responsible for supervision of the FLS staff, processing adoptive family applications, teaching adoption classes, facilitating groups, and supervising agency programs. Deanne Johnson Hamlette, MEd
Deanne Hamlette, MEd, is the Adoption Coordinator for FLS. She has been employed with the agency since 2001. She coordinates various aspects of casework within the agency including contract services, home studies for international adoption, and assignment of clients to caseworkers. Deanne assists with implementing policies and procedures, supervises Godparents, oversees the internship program, counsels birth parents and adoptive parents, completes home studies, and completes post-placement supervisory visits. Janelle Basham
Janelle Basham is an Adoption Caseworker who provides adoption counseling for residents of the Godparent Home and primarily coordinates adoptee and birth parent searches for the agency. She has ten years of experience working for our agency doing birth mother counseling, working with adoptive families, and completing home studies. As a teenager, Janelle was a resident of the Liberty Godparent Home and placed her daughter through Family Life Services. She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. Janelle can be reached at

Erica Dogini
Erica Dogini is an Adoption Caseworker who facilitates mediated communication and assists with search and reunion cases, completes home studies and post-placement supervision, and co-leads the monthly Birthmother Support Group. Erica is also a birth mother who placed a child for adoption in 2004 through FLS and uses this experience to support others in the adoption circle. Rachel Curley
Rachel Curley is an Adoption Caseworker who counsels with birth parents desiring to make an adoption plan, works with adoptive families pursuing the adoption process, and completes home studies for domestic and international adoption. Rachel has experience working with an orphanage and served as a foster mother in Thailand for the last 6 years. Rose Marie Owens is the Office Manager and has been with the ministry since 1984. During her 25 years, she has worked as a legal secretary, office manager and hotline counselor.
